Technical Support - Hyperic HQ™


A critical component of each Covalent Subscription is world-class support. Included with all Subscription offerings, Covalent support ensures that customers receive the priority service needed for a quick resolution of technical problems as they occur. The Covalent support team solves emergencies and dedicates their attention to the customer's issues until they are resolved. Covalent's support team will also help customers identify and address potential problems before they happen, minimizing the risk of downtime of critical business applications. Additionally, our experts can help save you from expensive hardware purchases by helping to optimize current IT infrastructures.

All Hyperic HQ Subscription's include: a standard, certified software build of Hyperic HQ, product updates, security patches, access to Covalent's online Knowledge Base and FAQ, as well as downloadable documentation and technical support all for a single price.

The Covalent Subscription for Hyperic HQ is available in 2 different plans: an incident-based plan and a Business Hour Plan. Each Subscription offering differs in the degree of responsiveness, the number of incidents that can be reported, the number of customer contacts, and the support access mechanism (online and/or phone).

Business Hour Subscription
The Business Hour Subscription is intended for customers requiring unlimited telephone and online support for business applications with a rapid response. Customers who choose the Business Hour Subscription will be able to contact the Covalent Support organization an unlimited number of times between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Pacific) for the life of the subscription term.

Online Subscription
The Online Subscription is our entry level plan, designed for customers with relatively few servers in a non-mission critical environment. The Online Subscription is available online only and is offered from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Pacific) with a targeted response time of 1 business day (usually much less). The Online Subscription plan is an annual plan that permits customers to submit 10 separate incidents during the twelve months of coverage. Additional incidents may be purchased at any time during the term of the Subscription.
