Mod_ssl protects privacy by integrating 128-bit encryption libraries. Mod_ssl for Apache 1.3/2.0 is implemented as a filter so it can be used in combination with other Apache modules. For example, the authentication module can use the certificate information of the mod_ssl module to authenticate clients. |
